Workshop on “Technical Aspects of Recording”

Basically the workshop was based on the different types of Recording. Such as,

1. Acoustic Recordings
2. Electronic Recordings
3. In the Box Recordings

It was a Theoretical cum practical workshop in which students were taken to the FM Radio Recording Studio wherein, they were given practical training about the technical know-how’s of Recording a song.

Outcome

• The students came up with various ideas to improve the quality of cultural programmes held throughout the year.
• They interacted amongst themselves and sought guidance from supervisors, co-ordinators and learned through this interaction.
• They saw their ideas being implemented and stages of improvisation in performances.

• They became more conscious of their natural inclination for music and began enjoying their own initiatives.

• Ready guidance by experts motivated them to improve upon weaknesses and practice more in their respective areas of strength.
