A demonstration was organized on Plant Decoration as a part of Home Management Guild activity by the Department of Home Science on 12th February 2020.  This activity was opened for all the students of the Department of Home Science and around 30 students eagerly participated in it. The activity started with the welcome speech which included a brief introduction of Dr. Aditi R.Khandelwal Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Business Studies, The IIS (Deemed to be) University, Jaipur. Besides Academics Dr. Aditi is doing plant ornamentation as her hobby. She also has her own page on instagram, where there are various types of decorative plants are available for purchase. She makes the student learn about different types of plants that can be used for decoration, materials that can be used for decoration like floral foam, pin holders, pin toys etc.

Dr. Ila Joshi presented bouquet of flowers to the Guest and Miss Isheeta Sharma gave a brief introduction about her. Later, she began the activity with an elaborate explanation of the different types of indoor plants like succulents zade etc.  She also gave some tips for indoor plants to fresh and alive for a longer period.  All the prepared plants were very beautiful and the activity was found to be very fruitful for the students as well as the staff.
