Objective of the workshop/seminar/activity:   To make the students aware of the issue related to puberty and menstrual awareness

Summary/Description (max 500 words): 

Gender Champion Club, IIS (Deemed to be University) in association with RCJ Gurukul and Unicharm organised a talk on the Puberty & Menstrual Wellness. The speaker of the session was Ms. Nitya Choudhary, Unicharm, Rajasthan. The purpose of the talk was to promote awareness, encourage gender sensitivity and reduce stigmas around one of the key issues in every female adolescent life. The talk focused on providing the girls with essential knowledge regarding puberty and menstrual wellness, fostering open communication and promoting overall wellness. The session was followed by the distribution of sanitary napkins among the girls.

The discussion received an overwhelming response from the participants and ended with the Questions and Answers round. 

        

 

Outcome of the activity/event/seminar/workshop: The session created awareness amongst the girls on puberty and menstrual wellness.
