Sports

The Department of Physical Education provides numerous facilities for a variety of sports like Shooting, Swimming, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Handball, Table-Tennis, Tennis and Athletics. The department also plays a major role in physical, mental and social development of students thereby providing them opportunities to prove their caliber in various sports category levels such as international, national, inter-university, inter-collegiate and state levels.

Many Inter-house competitions have been held in the college where zealous students from four different houses have competed whole-heartedly from the year 1995 to 2010. From 2011 onwards students have also started competing in inter-class competitions and showing their prowess.
ICG, being the only girls’ college, has also been hosting the University of Rajasthan's Inter-collegiate swimming championship from the last seven years for both men and women.
Another feather in the ICG's cap has been added by our very own Surbhi Mishra, who has represented India in various international Squash tournaments. She has also competed at the Commonwealth games held at New Delhi in 2010. She was also appointed as the Campus- sports-ambassador in the students’ council for the year 2009-10.
The ICG Health Club added a gymnasium facility for its students so as to provide a perfect blend of physical development along with mental and spiritual growth. The college offers a well equipped, fully air-conditioned fitness centre with a state-of-the-art gymnasium facility for both its students and faculty. It runs versatile fitness training programmes like cardio strength and weight training and has a variety of equipment like treadmills, cross trainers, recumbent and upright bikes, twisters, multi gym four station, aerobic steppers, swiss balls, etc. to name of few. The services of a certified trainer are also available for guidance.

An Inter college Taekwondo competition was held at Tagore Public School on 25th October 2013.

Inter College Table Tennis Tournament (2013)

A team was sent for the 2nd Inter College Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Mahaveer Commerce College, Jaipur on 25th October 2013.

INTER UNIVERSITY SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2014

The IIS University shooting tam secured 8th position in ALL INDIA SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP organised by PUNJAB University,chandigarh from 11-15 february 2014

Inter College Sports Meet (2012)

The University proved its mettle yet again by winning table tennis, volleyball and discuss throw competitions at Ist and IInd position in Inter College Sports meet, organised by Jaipuria Institute of Management from 25 -26th August 2012.

Annual Inter Collegiate sports Festival

The University shone once again by winning the basketball, volleyball, athletic and the overall General Championship trophies in VARCHAS - 2012, the annual Inter-collegiate sports festival organised by IIT Rajasthan in Jodhpur from 9-12 February 2012.

On 26th January 2012 a friendly match was played between U.S Rugby team and IIS University players.
