West Zone Inter-University Volleyball (W) Tournament 2018-19

We extend a warm and hearty welcome to you and your team for the West Zone Inter University Volleyball (Women) Tournament being organized by IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur from 12-15 December, 2018.

Please find attached here with a copy of the fixtures of the aforesaid Tournament and some important information regarding it:

1. Participating teams are requested to reach the University campus on 11^th December 2018 by 4:00 p.m. positively.
2. A meeting of all team Managers/ Coaches will be held on 11^th December 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Vinayak Hall of IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur.
3. Team Managers will have to submit 4 copies of Eligibility Proforma duly filled in & signed by the competent authority at the time of registration. Participants, Team Managers and Coaches should produce valid ID-Cards issued to them by their respective Universities before the registration committee. In the absence of the same, the team will not be allowed to participate in the Tournament.
4. The Team Managers are also required to submit a copy of the 10 & 10+2 Mark sheet (in case of players from UG programme) and copy of 10, 10+2 and Graduation Mark sheet (in case of players from P.G. programme) of the players  in their team duly attested by the competent authority of their respective Institute.
5. The Inaugural ceremony will be held on 12^th December 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. The team managers are requested to ensure that their teams assemble at the venue in proper kit with their respective University flag by 09:30 a.m.
6. Tournament will be conducted at the IISU campus and SMS stadium. All the matches of the Tournament will be held from 7:30 a.m. onwards.
7. The tournament will be conducted as per the latest VFI rules adopted by the A.I.U.
8. Officiating Charges will be Rs. 1500/- per team per match.
9. Teams are requested to report at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the match in proper sports kit with their ID-Cards.
10. Team managers will be responsible for maintaining the discipline at the venue of the Tournament and also at the place of their stay.
11. No team will be allowed to participate in the Tournament without its Team Manager.
12. No protest will be accepted pertaining to condition of the Volleyball Courts.
13. As per A.I.U. rules, teams withdrawing from the Tournament should intimate the organizers latest by 30^th November 2018.
14. The Host Institution reserves the right to make any changes in the programme of the Tournament. The decision made by the Host Institution shall be final in all matters concerning the Tournament.

TRANSPORT FACILITY:

1.   Pick up facilities from the Railway Station/Bus Stand will be provided by the host institution

subject to the receipt of their Travel Plan latest by 30^th November 2018.

2.   The transportation from the place of stay to Volleyball court of SMS Stadium and back will be provided by the Host Institution.

ACCOMODATION:

1.  The accommodation for all players, managers and coaches will be arranged by the host institution.

2.  The players will be provided mattress, bed-sheet, quilt and pillow on payment basis.

3.  Teams are requested to bring with them, their own lock and key to ensure safety of their belongings.

4.   Each team will have to deposit Rs. 2000/- as security amount which will be refunded after the return of material issued by the accommodation committee.

5.  Accommodation will be provided only 24 hours before the Tournament and the team will have to vacate the rooms within 24 hours of their last match.

6. The host institution will not provide accommodation to any person other than the Players/Manager/Coaches.

 NOTE:

•  The temperature of the Pink City in the Month of December is generally Minimum 9°C 

         & Maximum 26°C.

Important Note:

1. Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the Date, Time and Venue, if required.
2. All the teams are advice to report at the Venue well in advance (before 30 minutes) because in the case of any team(s) withdrawal the next match would be played immediately after a gap of 15 minutes.
3. Matches will start from 7:30 a.m.
4. Transport will be provided from accommodation to Venue and back.
