To felicitate star alumnae of the University.

To have an interaction between the fresher’s and the alumnae.

To motivate the fresher’s with the success stories of the alumnae.

To strengthen networking of alumnae and the fresher’s of the University.

Overall Report of the activity

An alumnae felicitation event was organized by ICG-IISU Alumnae Association-BANDHAN at the University campus on 05th September 2021. Total of 45 participants including alumnae, students and teachers attended it. The event was organized under University’s orientation Students Inducation Programme (SIP) which is organized for the fresher’s. The alumnae were welcomed by the Registrar, Prof. Rakhi Gupta and presented a token of appreciation. Further, the alumnae shared their success stories and boosted confidence of newly admitted students. The alumnae included Laxmi Tatiwala,student of the first batch (1998), Prisha Lamba, (B. Com Hons. 2006 batch); Vertika Kedia, (B. Com. 2013 batch); Shiromi (B.A. Hons., 2016 batch); Sonal (B.Sc. Chemistry Hons., 2017 batch); Chandani Soni, (B.Com., Hons. 2018 batch); and Komal Phulwani (B. Com. 2018 batch). Prisha Lamba stated that this is transition time for new students, and they should explore the university and actively participate in different programmes organized by the University. Vertika Kedia is currently working is an entrepreneur and CA, has started a Tax Filing company. She congratulated the new students in joining IISU. In this university she was not only taught about her subject but also gained skills to do business, problem solving attitude. Life is full of challenge and all these skills help the students in their college life and in life outside the college. Ms. Shiromi is working as a psychologist and stated that it is important to give at least 5 minutes for mind, body, and soul. Ms. Sonal explained the importance of sports in a students’ life as it provides mental, emotional, and physical strength. Komal, working at an organization in Bengaluru, stated that the university transformed her from a shy to confidant person which is helping her in career. The event ended with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Aditi Khandelwal with a hope to stay connected with the alumnae with a positive spirit.
