PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA Clinical Psychology

(ONE YEAR) Course

Upon completion of this one year course the student will be eligible to apply for RCI License and practice as a Clinical Psychologist

Admission through Entrance Exam on 21.12.2021

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to PROFESSIONAL Diploma in Clinical Psychology (1 year duration) course in IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. Admissions shall be made through written Entrance Examination, Practical, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

1.1 Eligibility –

M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Psychology/Clinical / Applied Psychology from a University recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC/PwD category, minimum of 50% in aggregate is essential.

2.1 No. of seats - 10 (Ten)

3.1 Application Form –

Application form will be available online on the University website  www.iisuniv.ac.in. The applicable fee for the form is Rs. 2,000/-. The candidate shall ensure that all the required documents as mentioned in 3.2 are self attested and attached when submitting the duly filled application form.

Last date of submission of Application Form is Wednesday, 15.12.2021.

3.2 List of documents to be enclosed with the application form -

Self attested photocopies of the following relevant documents are to be enclosed with the admission application form:-

·         Marks sheet/Certificate of the Secondary Examination (10^th Class) showing date of birth.

·         Marks sheet of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent Examination.

·         Marks sheet of graduation (BA/B.Sc.) examination.

·         Marks sheet of qualifying PROFESSIONAL (MA/M.Sc.) examination, as applicable (as mentioned under the heading "eligibility" in this notification)

·         Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS), if applicable, along with Domicile Certificate.

·         Disability Certificate, if applicable.

4.1 Tentative Schedule of Entrance Examination –

The Entrance Examination shall consist of 50 Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs), one essay type question, group discussion and practical and personal interview. The medium of written entrance examination shall be English. The distribution of marks for each component of Entrance Exam is given below:

·         Objective Type                                            -        50 marks

·         Long Answer Type                                      -        10 marks

·         Group Discussion                                        -        10 marks

·         Practical Skills & Personal Interview         -        30 marks

4.2 Result of Entrance Examination:

The final list of selected candidates will be made available at the university website as well as the notice board at IIS (deemed to be University), Gurukul Marg, SFS, Mansarovar, Jaipur.

The selected candidates shall be required to bring the original documents in proof of fulfilling the eligibility for admission. (Refer 4.3)

4.3 List of documents to be brought at the time of Admission-

Following relevant Original documents and one set of self-attested photocopy of the documents are to be brought by the candidate at the time of admission:

·         Marks sheet/Certificate of the Secondary Examination (10^th Class) showing date of birth.

·         Marks sheet of 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or its equivalent Examination.

·         Marks sheet of graduation (BA/B.Sc.) examination.

·         Marks sheet of qualifying examination (MA/M.Sc.), as applicable (as mentioned under the heading "eligibility" in this notification)

·         Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended.

·         Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.

·         Migration Certificate from the concerned University.

·         Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS), if applicable, along with Domicile Certificate. (OBC Non Creamy layer Certificate shall be valid only if its issue date is within twelve months prior to the notified last date of submission of the Admission Application Form).

·         Disability Certificate, if applicable.

·         No objection certification/permission from the present employer for admission to PROFESSIONAL Diploma Clinical Psychology one year full time course (for in service candidate only).

·         Aadhar Card.

Fee Structure –

Candidates selected for admission shall be required to deposit fee at the time of admission as under –

Rs. 2,08,000/- (for full course) to be deposited at the time of admission.

Candidates will have to submit all the original documents including migration certificate required for enrolment along with prescribed eligibility fees within two months of admission. Then after, he/she will have to pay applicable late fees as per prevailing University Rules.

The candidates shall be required to submit the prescribed fee, as mentioned above, by 5 January, 2022.  In case, the fee is not submitted within the time frame given above, other candidates from the wait list shall be called for admission formality.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS -

1)     Incomplete application forms or the forms submitted after the last date on account of any reason shall not be considered for admission.

2)     All disputes pertaining to admissions shall be subject to the jurisdiction at Jaipur, Rajasthan only.

3)     The University reserves the right to make changes in the schedule of written examination/ personal interview.
