Prof. P.J. John is presently working as Dean, Faculty of Science and Director, Research & Development Cell at IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. He has more than 30 years of teaching and administrative experience. During his tenure at University of Rajasthan, Jaipur he has held various positions such as Head, Department of Zoology; Director, P.G. School of Life Sciences; Director, Centre for Converging Technologies (CCT); Director, APTC; Chief Coordinator, E-YUVA and Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Career Hub (ECH), Incubation Centre. He was the Convener, Board of Studies in Zoology, Microbiology and Converging Technologies, at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and has also been the external member of Board of Studies in Zoology, Life Sciences and Environmental Sciences in several universities and autonomous institutions of the country. He was the Member of State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Rajasthan from January 2015 to December, 2017. He has supervised 25 students for Ph.D degree and 4 students for Post Doctoral research. He has published 115 research papers and has submitted 11 gene sequences in the Gene Bank. He is the recipient of DAAD fellowship from Germany (2005-2006) and Global Senior Scholar Exchange Program Award (GSSEP) from Society of Toxicology, USA (2020). He has also been honored with Fellow of Academy of Environmental Biology (F.A.E.B), India (2000) and Fellow of Society of Toxicology (F.S.T), India (2008).

Profile

Prof. Ila Joshi is Dean, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a doctorate in Home Science (Foods & Nutrition) and has over three decades of extensive teaching and research experience. She is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor and has successfully guided more than 15 doctoral scholars. Her academic portfolio includes numerous publications in reputed journals, along with serving as Principal Investigator for research projects funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Currently serving as Director, School of Home Science, she remains committed to a student-centric approach and to advancing knowledge in the field of Foods and Nutrition.
