In order to promote research-based activities among staff members the University has intimated an innovative scheme to sanction/grant minor research projects to faculty-members in every academic year. Started in the session 2008-09 the initiative bore encouraging results and necessary financial assistance provided to staff members from different faculties.

Continuing this trend the Research Promotion Committee invites Research proposals from all the faculty members for the session 2011-12. Interested staff may apply as per the prescribed guidelines in the format available on the University website www.iisuniv.ac.in. The last date for submission is July 30, 2011.
