‘Small Goal is equivalent to a crime’ – Dr. Kalam gave Success tip to young Indians 

I am born with Potential and Confidence, I have ideas, dreams, greatness and goodness….I have wings..and I would fly and fly and fly…….

With the recitation of the words of this poem, Dr. started his motivational address to about 800 students of IIS University and the students of other institutions of the Network i.e. IIS, ICG, IIERD, IIIM & IIMET.  

In an Interactive session with the future of India i.e. youth, Dr. Kalam gave success tips to the students and told them to aim high and always keep a big goal in their lives as having small goal is like a crime. In his speech titled- ‘Mission of Education is Capacity Building’ he further inspired the students to realize their capacities and potentials and give their best to whatever field they choose. He also told the students that currently we need good political young leaders for healthy political governance and so it’s a good sign if students opt this field. 

Dr. Kalam administered an oath to the all the youngsters that …I will have a goal to work hard, and to aim high and big. I realize that small aim is a crime. I will work with integrity and honesty and will give selfless service to all sufferers and needy people. I will be a good member of my family, society, country and the world.

I will always save someone’s life without any distinction of caste, creed, colour, sex, religion or any region. What can I give spirit will be more important to me than what can I take….i will give importance to time and my motto will be to work for clean home, city, nation and this planet. I will work without any comparison and feeling of jealousy and enjoy the success of others…as a youth, I will always serve my nation, my national flag flies in my heart and I bring glory to my nation…. 

The Students of The IIS University, Jaipur got a golden chance today on December 31, 2011 to meet and interact with the ‘Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam’ and were overwhelmed to hear such motivational words of visionary like Dr. Kalam.
